June 24

Doug Gardner - Grants Village to point east of Moran Junction...65 miles. Awoke with temperature of 26 degrees. Most memorable night as we all heard wolves howling throughout it....I heard them 4 times, the last time seemed as close as 100-200 yards. Eerie, spooky, but glad to have heard it. We quickly built fire to warm up with, to thaw out with We broke camp and headed out again. NO 2 days of this adventure are anything alike. We saw little wildlife again today, but the Park is full of tourists and RV's. In the small piece of land between our leaving Yellowstone and entering Grand Tetons National Park, we were fortunate to see a Grizzly Bear foraging for food. The views of the majestic Tetons were tremendous. We ended our ride at Grand Teton RV Park, where we enjoyed looking at the Tetons at sunset.
