Doug Gardner - Ride to Dubois......Rode to and over Togwotee Pass, our highest point to date. We saw many antelope and what I presumed were mule deer. As soon as we descended from the pass, there was a dramatic change in scenery, with the landscape being more arid and desert-like. The buttes or mesas were banded with shades of green and a red rock, which appeared to represent different sediment layers, each allowing its own selective types of vegetation. We finished our ride at Trails End Motel.
